Sunshine on the snow!

Today I woke up to the sun shining brightly on the snow that had fallen yesterday and last night.  Yes, we sometimes get tired of the snow but remember that it is only the prelude to spring.  Without the life giving water that the earth receives from the winter snow the plants would struggle for lack of sufficient water needed for them to grow.  In just a few short weeks the Lord will be awaking the earth from its long winters sleep, and the earth by the providence of God will bring forth and bud once again.  We must keep in mind that the Lord is the one in charge and he keeps his word.  Below is a protion of scripture that reminds me of who is in charge, the Lord Jesus Christ.

 Isaiah 55:8-11
"For my thought are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways saith the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  For as the rain cometh down, and the SNOW from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater.  so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

I have some chores I want to do around the house and then it is off to my crafting room for some relaxing fun creating.  I am almost done with my summer flower album.  It is called "Beautiful Sunshine Day."   Most of the album is done with a kit I got from Paperworks with some others embellishments added my stock.  The color scheme is mosting yellows, greens and blues, with a hint of orange.  But I thought I would add some other colors when I attach the ribbons on the binding rings.  I am hoping to do a video sometime this week.

Another project that I will be starting soon is another altered canvas.  It will be more vintage.  When I am done with it I will also do a video about it as well.
