Rainy Days and Mondays

Hi Everyone,

I just to touch base with everyone.  I live in PA and watching Fox News all about the storm that just came ashore.  We are in western PA and getting a lot of  rain and winds.  It is also very cold.  My heart goes out to those on the coast.  I have family right outside of Philly.  So prayfully they are ok.  If any of your are in the path of this storm please be safe.  I know God is in control, Praise The Lord.

Sending my prayers and love out to all of you this cold and rainy evening.

Hugs,
Janet

Sad Day

Hi Everyone,

Today was a sad day for me.  You may think me selfish and if I sound that way I am sorry.  Today my daughter left.  She is going to visit my Mom and then tomorrow she is going back to California.  I know her family miss her and I understand, it is just so hard when we only get to see her and the family once a year.  I thank the Lord for the phone and computer so we can keep in touch.

Also today our son and his bride got home from their honeymoon.  They really enjoyed themselves, thank the Lord.  They had several chore to take care of and when they got home (they are going to live across the street from us) my son came over to get some more of his things to take over to the house.  We talked a few minutes and then he said well Mom I better go home now.  That was hard because for almost 26 years this has been his home and now he has his own home.  I know I will get use to it.  It is just that I can close my eyes and see him as a little boy playing in the yard.

Well both of our children a well grown up and I am very proud of both of them.  They both love the Lord and their spouses.  My daughter loves her daughters so this all makes me happy.  I just want to thank the Lord Jesus for his constant care and love for my family and I and how he always provides for us spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially, etc.

It is time to close for now.  Everyone get a wonderful nights sleep and I will be posting again real soon.  God bless all of you.

Hugs,
Janet

Wedding Day

Hi Everyone,

I hope all of you are having a great Monday.  My daughter is in for a visit and today is her birthday and Jim and I took her out shopping and to dinner to celebrate.  It is hard to believe she is 32 years old.  Tiffany came in for her brother's wedding.

What a beautiful wedding.  It was simple yet very elegant.  The happy couple will be home tomorrow from their honeymoon.  I want to share with all of you some pictures of their happy day.

Have a great evening.

Hugs,
Janet

Family

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is going well with all of you.  Today is very exciting for my family and I.  Tonight our daughter will be home here in PA for her brothers wedding.  Such an exciting time.  She has not been home for over a year and a half.  We wish the whole family could have come back for this great celebration, busy schedules in her family are very busy.  She is so excited about coming home and seeing her little brother get married.    Another thing is while she is home we will be celebrating her 32st birthday.  That day, Oct. 22, 2012, we (her Dad and I) are taking her shopping at PatCatan's, Westmoreland Mall and Barnes and Noble.  To top it all off we are taking her to the Olive Garden for dinner.  She is so excited about the time she can spend with us.  Her time here will be too short but we will cherish the time we have with her before she goes back to CA.

Well I better go for now.

Hugs,
Janet

Autumn In PA

Happy October Everyone,

I am so excited.  Autumn is one of my favorite seasons of the year.  I love the cool fresh air, the landscape of  autumn colors and the scents of the season. I took a couple of pictures the other day from the Wal-mart parking lot of the trees.  The reds, yellows and oranges are so beautiful. I just had to share so I am posting some pictures of the trees.  If you have any pictures or comments of autumn please post me and let me know.

Hugs,
Janet
