Another Grea Day with My Hubby!!!

Hi Everyone,

Jim took me up to the center to turn in my keys and pay my Fox's bill.  I resigned 2 weeks ago.  It is so good being at home with Jim and Jimmy.  The only thing missing is Tiffany and her family.  I really miss them.  Hopefully sometime this year we will get to see them.

Now that I am retired I will be able to do alot more around the house as well as work on my crafts and get to some Bible studies.

I will keep everyone posted.

Hugs,
Janet

A Day with My Husband

Hi Everyone,

Had a great day with my husband.  We had breakfast together and then headed off to do some shopping.  I needed som mod podge so our first stop was Pat Catan's.  What a great store and inexpensive too.  Got a few other things while I was there.  While I was looking around Jim went up to the greehouse store and got a couple iris plants, they are beautiful.  In the floral section of the store I found that they sale cups and saucers.  I will have to keep that in mind for when I need more.

Around 3:00 went were off again to Burger King and had a quick bite to eat before heading to K-Mart.  Picked up some make-up, body wash and a notebook that I will alter.  By then it was after 5:00 and time to head home.

Spent the evening just relaxing.  Great day.

Janet

Hi Everyone,

I am having a great day.  It is so good to be home with my guys.  It is also humbling to remember this very important day, Good Friday, the day our Lord Jesus Christ went to the cross and took our sins upon himself, paying the price for my redemption.  Thank You Lord Jesus.  I look forward to Sunday, Victory Day, Resurrection Day.  I love you Lord, you are so wonderful to me.  Thank you for all you do for me.

Great Day with the Guys in my Life

Hi Everyone,

It has been a great day with the guys in my life.  They are so wonderful to me.  To let them know I love them I made for dinner homemade meatloaf, redskin mashed potaoes and peas for dinner.  It was wonderful sitting down and having dinner with the two of them.  I am so ready to spoil them.  They have been so supportive of me and I truly appreciate them.

Tomorrow is good friday.  The day our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ went to the cross.  It was there he took my punishment and shed His precious blood.  Thank you dear Jesus for all you have done for me.  I love you Lord.

Hugs,
Janet

Wednesday, April 4, 2012

As we look toward this coming Sunday, we remember the work that was accomplished on the cross by our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Jesus our Savior, Redeemer and Lord.

On a hill far away, stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of of suffering and shame.  And I love that old cross where the dearest and best for a world of lost sinners was slain.  So I'll cherish thee old rugged cross where my trophies at last I lay down.  I will cling to thee old rugged cross and exchange it someday for a cross.

Remember the Old Rugged Cross.

Hugs,
Janet
