Hi Everyone, I want to say God is so good. Today I went for a stress test and it went really well, Praise the Lord. I give the Lord all the glory, He is always with me. When I got home I took a nice long nap. I am still a little tired but so thankful for the Lord and all He does for me and my family.
Scripture Reading: Psalms 25:7-8
"Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my trangressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. Good and upright is the Lord; therefore will He teach sinners in the way."
My advice: Depend on the Lord completely.

My Position in Christ
Hi Everyone,
I just have this thought on my heart and I need to share it. I am honor to be a woman of the Lord. It is not a shame to be a woman, it is an honor. There is no shame in being a wife and mother, to stay at home and take care of the home and family. It is okay if a man and wife decide that the wife should work, but it is okay if a man and wife choose for the woman to stay at home.
Scripture Reading: I Timothy 2:9-15 I call this portion of scripture "A Woman's Place"
"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel; with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair or gold, or pearls, r costly array. But which becometh women professing godliness with good works. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in trangression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holliness with sobriety."
Women play a very important part in the plan of God. I think of Ruth, a Moabite, an idol worshipper, who left her home land, went with her mother-in-law to the land of Israel. Accepted God as her God, and was the great grandmother of King David and she is in the genealogy of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then there is Rahab, another idol worshipper who is also in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. These two woman and there are more, came to recognize the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as the one true and living God.
So when you hear the world tell you that you are not important as a woman, remember, that the Lord Himself considers you very important. Don't let those who misinterrupt scripture discourage you. I am so happy to be a woman, wife and the person the Lord would have me to be.

Beautiful Saturday
Hi Everyone,
Yes it has been a few days since I posted anything on my blog. Today was absolutely beautiful. I did some weeding in my one flower garden, Jimmy mowed the lawn and Jim cut the hedges. This evening Jim and I sat out on the patio taking in the beautiful evening. Tomorrow is the Lord's day and I know it will be a blessing to be in the Lord's house.
Scripture Reading: Psalms 25:5-6
"Lead me in thy truth, and teack me: for thou are the God of my salvation: on thee do I wait all the day. Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy loveingkindness: for they have been ever of old."
Have a super sunday as you worship the Lord.

Rainy Days and Mondays and I'm Not Down
Hi Everyone,
Rainy days and mondays may get some people down but not me. "I am so glad that Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me. I am so glad that Jesus loves me, Jesus loves even me." That is enough to make me happy any day. So when it rains, that is God taking care of His creation.
Saturday was a really nice day. Mom came up on thursday and she and I went to the Ladies Tea at the church, it was a feista theme. The food was good, the fellowship was great and the devotion was really super. I was so glad that Mom was able to make it up for this festive day. While she was here we had a chance to not only talk, but we played alot of up words. It was great.
Scripture Reading: Psalms 25:1-2
"Unto thee, O Lord, do I livt up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me."

A Day of Remembrance
Hi Everyone,
I hope all of you are having a great day. Today for my family and I we remember someone very special in our lives, my Dad. He was a great father and grandfather. We miss him so very much. I am so blessed to have such a great Dad.
What I remember about Dad:
His unconditional love...
His constant care...
His support of the family in all we did.
What I remember most is the day him and my Mom accepted Jesus as their Savior. After Daddy prayed he stood up with a huge smile on his face and a sigh of relief. After that it was not strange to see Daddy reading his Bible. He loved the Lord so much and now he is with his Savior. My Mom who is a Christian also misses Daddy and is still totally devoted to Daddy. Praise the Lord for the parents he gave me, I love him so much.
Scripture Reading: John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him shall not perish but have ever;asting life."

In the Garden
Hi Everyone,
I hope all had a great weekend and Monday. Yesterday I was out in the backyard and I took several pictures of our gardens. So today I will be posted them here on my blog. My husband, Jim has done alot of planting and last week he and I did some major weeding. Of course the weeding is a never ending job. But I love the flowers and other plants that we have in our yard. some of the flowers have not bloomed yet, but when they do I will be posting those pictures also. I can't wait till my lilies bloom, also my roses, daisies and Black-eyed Susans. As everything begins to bloom I will have pictures to show.
Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:11-13
"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. and the evening and morning were the third day."
Song of the Day: In the Garden
"I come to the garden alone, While the dew is still on the roses; And the voice I hear, falling on my ear, The Son of God discloses. And He walks with me, and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own; And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known."
Enjoy the scripture verses, the song and the pictures.

Remembering Mom
Tomorrow is the day that we remember what Mom has done and is doing for us. As a mother I consider it an honor and privilege to be a Mom. I praise the Lord that He chose me to be the mother of Tiffany and Jimmy and the grandmother (Nana) to Kristina and Abigail. However the does not stop there in blessing me as a mother, He gave me a great son-in-law who takes very good care of my daughter and granddaughters. Thank you Lord for be so good to me.
Scripture Reading: Psalms 127:3-5 ; II Timothy 1:5
"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
"When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also."
Song of the Day:Faith of Our Mothers
"Faith of our mothers, living still
In cradle song and bedtime prayer,
In nursery lore and fireside love,
Thy presence still pervades the air:
Faith of our mothers, living faith,
We will be true to thee till death!
Faith of our mothers, loving faith,
Fount of our childhood's trust and grace,
O may thy consecration prove
Source of finer, nobler race:
Faith of our mothers, loving faith,
We will be true to thee till death!
Have a super great Mother's day everyone. I will be spending mine with my Mom and family. My thoughts will be with my daughter and her family in California. I love you Tiffany, Kristina, Abigail, Keith and Ngan.

Thursday: Ladies Bible Study
Hi Everyone,
Sorry I haven't put up a new post in a few days. Today was the Ladies Thursday Bible STudy at church. It is such a good study. We are learning about Sarah and her walk with God. Very good and I am learning alot of what I need to apply to my own life.
Scripture Reading: Psalms 24:9-10
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates, even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah."
Song of the Day
"We shall enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts, we shall enter His courts with praise, We shall say this is the day that the Lord has made, WE will rejoice for He has made me glad. He has made me glad, He has made me glad, I will rejoice for he has made me glad."
Today I also started a new mini album. It will be a vintage album and it will be made with Tattered Time paper. It is beautiful vintage paper. The album will be a 4 x 6. I do have a few projects going so it might be a few days before I get the album done. When I do, I will do a video.
